- Dry mix processing & powder metallurgy of 100+ silicon carbide polymer and ceramic composites, investigating phase-segregated networks, percolation, CTE mismatch, meta-structures, and EMI.
- Characterized using impedance & dielectric spectroscopy (IS/DS) @ 100 mHz – 1 GHz, in situ compaction, cathodoluminescence, SEM, EDS, CT, FMR, and equivalent circuit modeling.
- Built custom waveguide RF setup and sample handler for EMI tests in X-band. Designed a user-defined calibration kit for 2-port calibration of VNA to isolate complex scattering parameters.
- Coded MATLAB for parasitic de-embedding, network cascades, Nicholson Ross Weir (NRW) model, and analysis of material properties like dielectric/magnetic loss and EMI shielding effectiveness.
- Managed lab and maintenance operations, performed root cause analysis on equipment, procured supplies, equipment, & software, wrote & revised technical documents, and led technical training.

- Performed reliability engineering evaluating the manufacturing process of 150+ PCBs with IS/DS in a custom edge connector box with a Gain-Phase Analyzer, varying RH/Cº for HAST reliability testing in an environmental control chamber.
- Finite element analysis (FEA) in COMSOL Multiphysics to reverse engineer microstructure from EM behavior of composite substrates. Presented an invited talk at the COMSOL Boston 2024 conference.
- Scrum team member with the Materials Characterization and Performance Group, along with other universities, in the reliability testing and analysis of manufactured interdigitated solder-masked PCBs. First author statistical analysis published in IEEE, titled: Effect of Solder Mask Variability on the Electrical Response of Commercially Manufactured Interdigitated Circuits.

- Characterized transmission and reflection spectra of semiconducting samples such as GaAs in the Law Research Group using a vacuum-based Bruker FTIR, manually switching out the EM source, beam splitter, and detector for the near-, mid-, and far-infrared ranges.
- Sketched and modeled a design for a transmission stand slide to host an electromagnet for in situ operation of FTIR for investigating effects of applied magnetic fields on samples. - Finite element analysis of manufactured solder-masked printed circuit boards (PCBs). The introductory work of “reverse engineering” the proprietary material composition and substrate structure of the PCBs is presented. Experimental data referenced are from my IEEE published article, where measurements were taken within our laboratory. PCBs were provided by Sandia National Laboratory. Oral presentation given as an Early Career Invited Talk. Of the 12 invited talks, I was the only Ph.D. student. The remaining 11 were industry leads and research professors.

- First author published work in the IEEE Journal presenting the experimental work done in collaboration with Sandia National Laboratories on commercially manufactured interdigitated circuits. PCBs were characterized using impedance spectroscopy to analyze the effect of solder mask variability on electrical response. Statistical methodology and formatting were developed by our group and first presented at I2MTC 2022 conference, with technical proceedings preserved on Sandia’s online servers.

- Joined the Youth Advisory Council (YAC) of the St. Croix (STX) Foundation at the end of my freshman year of high school to be a voice of the youth in the STX community. Spoke at the 2015 Donors Meeting with fellow members, advocating for the YAC as a resource and igniter for action.
- In collaboration with the Global Youth Network, launched a project for career readiness education called the Career Catalyst Interviews. - Aided in the grant cycle process for three grants through the St. Croix Foundation for community organizations serving youth in 2014. Those orgs were: Deaf Camp STX, St. Croix Montessori School, and the St. Croix Educational Complex High School Chapter of the Mu Alpha Theta of the National Mathematics Honor Society. Contributed editorially to recipient package documentation.
- Created and managed the Facebook page and Messenger application for the group while maintaining correspondence with team members via email.
- Volunteered for community initiatives as a representative of YAC STX, such as the 2015 Kids’ Cooking Class, 2015 Food and Wine Event, and 2014 Taste of St. Croix.

From the Lesser Antilles and nationally of the United States, Roshaun can be noted as one with the Americas. Titus is from St. Croix of the US Virgin Islands, an island of the Caribbean. He completed K-12 education on his home island and pursued higher education in the states of Pennsylvania and Georgia, seeking new experiences with individuals and groups from around the world. Roshaun continued his organizational and community leadership that began formally during secondary school, emphasizing a focus on leadership and impact in the spaces he occupies. With an interdisciplinary STEM background, cross-disciplinary experiences, and community action, Roshaun has a drive to create and foster opportunities for others, providing a unique perspective to the physical and virtual rooms he enters.
