About Me

My name’s Roshaun Titus. This website had its beginnings as a personal blog of mine. I was born and raised on St. Croix of the U.S. Virgin Islands and study Materials Science and Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology as a  Ph.D. student. I received my bachelor’s degree at Lincoln University of Pennsylvania, where I double majored in Engineering Science, with a concentration in Electrical Engineering, and General Mathematics with a minor in Physics.

In undergrad I was a board member of Lincoln University’s chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers for all four years of my time there. I am now in my second term as the Treasurer of the Black Graduate Student Association of Georgia Tech.

I personally enjoy the process of learning. Whenever such topics arise, I find myself discussing various topics, ideas, and concerns that involve academics. Thinking back to these moments has helped me to realize that academia is one of my various passions. One of the main goals of this blog began with giving advice to college-bound high school students and current college students as a college student myself at the time. As a graduate student, I will expand that goal to advice for graduate school as well. I believe this blog can be useful for students of every major, and I plan on sharing my college life and past experiences with the overall goal of benefiting others. I will also begin to make random posts of whatever topics that come to mind to keep up with this blog, as that hiatus since 2018 was quite a long one.

Enjoy!
